St. Bridget of Sweden was born around 1303 in Uppland, Sweden. She died on July 23, 1373. She is the founder of the Bridgettines, an order dedicated to the Most Holy Savior. Our Lord and Our Lady revealed to her the Seven Times Jesus spilled His Precious Blood for us. The deep, dark color of the triple berries in this mixture show the deep, dark, life-giving blood as to which Our Lord spilled for our salvation and eternal life with Him in Heaven. Mary, the new Eve, the new Ark of the Covenant, in her sweetness and grace as our eternal and spiritual mother, brings us to Her Most Holy Son through her sorrow while praying the Seven Sorrows Chaplet and the Magnificent Promises of the 12 Years Prayers given to St. Bridget to share with us.
St. Bridget of Sweden, pray for us.
